About

Kyungbin Kwon, Ph.D is Associate Professor of Instructional Systems Technology at Indiana University. His expertise lies in technology-based learning design for computational thinking (CT) development with an emphasis on embodied CT designs. He has served an elementary school robotics club as a coach for two years. With the support of the Google CS Education Research grant (2018-2019, PI: Anne Leftwich), he developed a CS curriculum for upper elementary students, which was adopted by Monroe County Community School Corporation after its implementation at four local schools. In this project, he will lead the curricular design and research implementations, also directing all aspects of the project at IU and coordinating collaboration with the Crane team and school partners.
